Welcome ...
When was the last time you took a trip? When was the last time you traveled out of the country? Global Civis understands the importance of travel and wants to provide that opportunity to members of our local communities. Working with EF Tours, Global Civis has escorted more than 70 Explorers on different trips around the world.
Global Civis works with the community and local high schools through the organization of Global Civis Clubs whose focus is on world travel and teaching about the worl outside of the four walls of the classroom. If you are interested in joining an existing club or starting one up please send an e-mail to our director, Tom Beard. He can be reached at thomas.beard@globalcivis.com.
EF Tours has been around for more than 40 years helping students travel throughout the world. EF was established in Sweden with the purpose of breaking down barriers of language, culture and geography. For more information on EF please visit their web site at www.eftours.com. Although EF was established to provide travel for students it is also open to adults. With a small increase in price adults are provided a private room in addition to all the perks given to student travelers. Past Global Civis trips have included parents and grandparents.
